Hae Jin Kim is a seasoned plant molecular biologist, genome editor, and synthetic biologist with a strong track record in project management and research. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Bayer since 2022, Hae Jin has previously held positions as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Scientist at Pairwise, contributing to the development of transgenic crops and gene editing tools. Hae Jin's extensive experience includes managing multiple research projects that resulted in 20 publications, 3 patents, and 18 conference presentations, alongside mentoring students and collaborating across various research teams. Hae Jin earned both an Integrated Master and Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from Korea University.
