Hao Wei

Hao Wei is a Principal Data Scientist at Bayer, with experience beginning in July 2020, and previously held the title of Senior Data Scientist. Prior to Bayer, Hao Wei was a Senior Data Scientist at LeanTaaS from September 2017 to April 2020, where responsibilities included leading data science efforts for the Operating Room and Inpatient Bed Products, focusing on machine learning model development and integration. Earlier experience includes a Senior Fellow role at the University of Washington, during which detailed investigations into the role of transforming growth factor-β in aortic aneurysm and extracellular matrix proteolysis in atherosclerotic plaque rupture were conducted. Hao Wei holds a PhD in Genetics and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, along with postdoctoral training in Metabolomics and Genomics from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Zhejiang University.
