Helcio Burd

Helcio Burd is a Senior Process Development Scientist at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where they have been employed since 2020. Previously, Helcio held positions as a Process Development Scientist II at Grifols and worked in fermentation science at both Berkeley Lab and UC Berkeley. They obtained a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark and a degree in Food Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Helcio also briefly served as an Analytical Instrumentation Engineer at Newomics, Inc.
