Helmut Allmeier

Helmut Allmeier is a Global Medical Affairs physician and scientist specializing in clinical trials for ophthalmology at Bayer HealthCare since 2015. They previously held positions such as Clinical Research Scientist at Lederle/American Cyanamid from 1992 to 1995 and Group Leader for Clinical and Medical Affairs at Dr. Mann Pharma from 1995 to 2001. Helmut has also worked as Clinical Trial Head at Novartis and in various leadership roles within Bausch & Lomb. They earned a PhD in Genetics from the University of Regensburg, where they also completed a Diploma in Microbiology, and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship in Physiology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
