Hongwei Luo

Hongwei Luo is a Data Science Tech Lead at Bayer Crop Science, bringing advanced education and extensive experience in Reliability Engineering and Operations Research. They have held previous roles as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist, and have contributed as an Operations Research Analyst Co-Op during their time at Monsanto Company. Hongwei began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Tianjin University, followed by a Master’s and a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona and completed an internship at Continental, where they directed material scheduling and planning for hybrid electrical vehicle parts.
