Ivan Backhovens

Ivan Backhovens has amassed extensive experience in IT leadership and operations, currently serving as the Head of Country IT Benelux at Bayer since May 2014, overseeing applications, digital innovation, and workplace support across multiple locations. Previously, Ivan held various roles at Next-ICT, including IT Consultant, where significant contributions were made to helpdesk projects, software packaging, and mobile device management. Ivan's career also includes technical support roles at Getronics and Boghossian Diamonds, where expertise in system administration and field engineering was demonstrated. Additionally, Ivan is an active member of the CIO Group at EGN, engaging with peers on emerging IT trends and digital innovation.
