James Hung

James Hung is a highly experienced clinical development physician and nephrologist with a distinguished background in both research and patient care. At Bayer, James serves as Director, Clinical Development Physician, and Bayer Science Fellow, while previously holding the role of Senior Global Study Medical Expert in Research & Development. In addition to contributions at Bayer, James has practiced as an attending physician in nephrology at prominent institutions including Hospital Albert Einstein, Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo - ICESP, and Instituto do Coração - InCor HCFMUSP. Furthermore, James has served as an attending physician in nephrology, internal medicine, and intensive medicine at Universidade de São Paulo. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Science from Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo and advanced training at Brigham and Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School.
