Jeff Hinen is currently the Regional Technology Development Lead for Bayer Crop Science, overseeing a team of field researchers across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. With a Bachelor's degree in Soil and Plant Science from Purdue University and a Master’s in Botany and Weed Science from North Carolina State University, Jeff has extensive experience in agronomy, having previously held roles at Pioneer Hi-Bred, Monsanto, and The Climate Corporation. Their career includes expertise in forage nutrition, product development, and sales management, contributing significantly to advancements in agricultural technology. Jeff also engaged in community sports as a left wing for the Rusty Blade Hockey team from 2000 to 2020.
