Jeff Townsend

Jeff Townsend is an experienced packaging professional with a strong background in consumer health and personal care products. Currently serving as Principal of Packaging Innovation at Bayer since February 2019, Jeff leads global packaging initiatives within the R&D Therapeutics Unit. Prior to this role, Jeff held various leadership positions at L'Oreal USA, including Director of Packaging for the Americas Hair Care and Color segment and Senior Manager of Packaging. Jeff's career also includes significant roles at Silgan Plastics, Avon Products, Graham Packaging, O-I, and Plastipak Packaging, where responsibilities ranged from new product development to engineering management. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging from Michigan State University.
