Jeffrey Bowman

Jeffrey Bowman has extensive experience in health, safety, environment, and security, currently serving as a Safety Lead in the Maintenance, Central Utilities, and Facilities departments at Bayer since November 2003. Key areas of expertise include confined space operations, hot work, and fall protection, as well as biosafety and radiation safety for multiple campuses. Jeffrey's previous roles include senior specialist specializing in business continuity and crisis management, account manager at North State Environmental, and west coast accounts manager at Cadence Environmental, focusing on alternative fuels and air pollution control. Earlier in their career, Jeffrey served as a lead field chemist and a math and science instructor in Zimbabwe with the US Peace Corps, significantly improving student performance in mathematics and science. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
