Jennifer Yates

Jennifer Yates has extensive experience in the agricultural biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Canola and Wheat Unit Lead at Bayer since February 2016. In this role, Yates directs line breeding efforts for wheat, focusing on enhancing yield potential and genetic gains through the integration of innovative technologies. Prior to this position, Yates worked at Monsanto for nearly a decade, where the role as Global Soybean Breeding Agronomic Traits Lead involved managing a team dedicated to characterizing the soybean breeding pipeline and spearheading molecular discovery initiatives. Jennifer Yates holds a PhD in Agronomy from The University of Georgia, an MS in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in Genetics from The University of Georgia.
