Jens Ackerstaff

Jens Ackerstaff has a background in medicinal chemistry and experience working in various roles at Bayer, with a focus on crop protection R&D. Currently, as VP, Digital Lead Crop Protection R&D, Jens is responsible for driving digital transformation and maximizing value generation in research and development. Prior to this, Jens held roles in leading cross-functional discovery teams, highly skilled chemistry teams, and as a senior research scientist in medicinal chemistry with a focus on cardiovascular diseases. With a degree in organic chemistry and chemistry, Jens brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role.
