Joachim Schäfer is the VP, Global Cluster Lead for CapEx Planning and Site Development at Bayer Pharmaceuticals - EMEX, overseeing essential capabilities for evaluating and setting up CapEx projects. With a robust background in project management and venture management, they have previously worked on multiple chemical projects and successfully executed a GMP Upgrade program. Joachim holds a Dr.rer.nat. in Bio-Process Engineering from the University of Hohenheim and a Dipl.-Ing. in Process Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
