Joanne Cusack is currently the Head of Manufacturing Cell Culture Technology Center at Bayer, a position held since 2018. Previously, they served as Senior Manager for the Cell Culture Business Unit at Janssen, where they managed a large team and oversaw upstream cell culture commercial manufacturing operations from 2014 to 2015. Joanne began their career as a Bioprocess Specialist at Janssen Biologics, contributing to extensive process development, and earlier worked as a Microbiologist at Eli Lilly. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Virology from University College Cork.
