John Calvo

John Calvo has extensive experience in the legal and business development sectors, primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. From November 1995 to June 2020, John held various positions at Bayer, including Executive Director of Business Development & Strategic Alliances in Oncology and Senior Counsel for the LPC Business Partner Oncology, where support was provided to the Oncology Strategic Business Unit in the US. Prior roles included Senior Counsel for the US Diagnostic Imaging business unit and Associate positions focused on corporate transactions, representing emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and investment banks. John's earlier legal career included significant roles at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. John holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BS in Economics from NYU Stern School of Business.
