John Finnessy

John Finnessy is currently the Head of Health, Safety and Environment for North America Operations in Vegetable Seeds at Bayer, a position they have held since 2020. Previously, they served as the Head of Biologics Operations at Bayer Crop Science and garnered extensive experience as a Senior Scientist at Pfizer and a Weed Control Molecular Lead at Monsanto Company. Finnessy began their career as a Research Associate at Pioneer Hi-Bred and holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and an M.Sc. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. They are currently pursuing further education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
