John Kotyk is a Distinguished Science Fellow currently serving as Principal Imaging Scientist at Bayer Crop Science since 2016. They previously held several significant roles at Washington University in St. Louis from 2006 to 2015, including Associate Director of the Center for Clinical Imaging Research and Associate Professor of Radiology. Prior to that, John worked at Pharmacia Inc. and Monsanto Company, where they specialized in research and development in the fields of chemistry and imaging technologies. They earned a PhD in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Physics at Southeast Missouri State University.
