John McNichols

John McNichols is an experienced engineer specializing in telemetry, control systems, and digital agriculture. John’s professional background includes serving as a Telematics and Controls Engineer at The Climate Corporation, where responsibilities included integrating sensor technologies within a scientific framework. Prior to this, John held multiple roles at the University of Dayton Research Institute, including Associate Digital Systems Engineer and Group Lead for Unmanned and Embedded Systems, overseeing a team focused on unmanned aerial systems and real-time processing. Earlier experience as an Associate System Engineer at PC Krause and Associates involved hardware-in-the-loop testing for aviation systems. Currently, John is a Systems Engineer at Bayer Crop Science. John holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Dayton.
