Johnny Lloyd

Johnny Lloyd is a data science professional with extensive experience in statistical modeling and machine learning. From October 2017 to November 2020, Johnny served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan, where statistical modeling approaches in R were developed to predict tumor sensitivity to clinical therapies. Subsequently, Johnny held positions at Bayer Crop Science as a Data Scientist from September 2021 to June 2023 and is currently a Senior Data Scientist since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Researcher at Michigan State University from July 2012 to October 2017, where machine learning methods in Python and R were employed to identify essential genes in genomic data. Johnny holds a PhD in Plant Biology from Michigan State University and advanced degrees in Botany and Microbiology from Oklahoma State University.
