Jonathan Segal

Jonathan Segal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in alliance and partnership management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Alliance & Partnership Management at Bayer since August 2018, Jonathan leads global clinical operations and outsourcing strategies across various clinical research organization (CRO) alliances. Prior to Bayer, Jonathan held significant roles at Mundipharma Research Limited as Director of Outsourcing and at BTG International as Global Category Manager, overseeing R&D clinical spend. Jonathan's career also includes pivotal positions at AstraZeneca R&D, where Jonathan managed global outsourcing portfolios and CRO relationships, and early roles at SAR Limited, Pfizer, and Innovex Limited focused on clinical project management and research. Jonathan holds a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds.
