Julia Stevens is a Development Lead in R&D for Fiber & Fuel Crops at Bayer and a Bayer Science Fellow. Recognized as a 2023 St. Louis Business Journal 40 Under 40 Honoree and a 2024 Bayer Women in Science Exchange "Women of the Year," Julia has made significant contributions to technical strategy development for global research programs in agricultural biotechnology. With expertise spanning sustainability, biofuel feedstock development, and molecular biology, they have led various high-impact projects at Bayer, received multiple Top Performer Awards, and chaired the Innovations in Crop Science Conference. Julia holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Alabama, a Master’s in Marine and Wetland Studies from Coastal Carolina University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University.
