Julian Egger

Julian Egger is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Head of Pilot Plant API Production at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, with primary responsibility for the production of Imidacloprid and the implementation of new products. Formerly, Julian held the position of 2nd Plant Manager Product Supply at Bayer CropScience and the Head of Laboratory Process Chemistry at Bayer AG Pharmaceuticals, leading a process lab and overseeing route finding and scale-up activities. Julian's prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Berkeley and doctoral studies at ETH Zurich, along with an undergraduate education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Julian holds a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry.
