Karoline Droebner

Karoline Droebner is currently serving as the Scientific Lead for Tissue Repair at Bayer AG, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Laboratory Head at Kidney Diseases from 2012 to 2022, where they managed complex preclinical research studies and mentored postdoctoral researchers. Karoline also worked as a Research Product Team Lead at Bayer from 2010 to 2012, following a postdoctoral position focused on developing animal models for Cystic Fibrosis. Their academic journey includes earning a Diploma in Biology from Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in 2006 and completing a PhD centered on the avian influenza virus at the Friedrich Loeffler Institute.
