Mackenzie Ditty

Mackenzie Ditty, Ph.D., is a Staff Scientist at Bayer, specializing in Sterile Disposables. Driven by a commitment to improving human health, Mackenzie has nearly 4 years of experience in Medical Device R&D and over 10 years in wet bench laboratory and material science, acquired through roles at institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University and Penn State University. Mackenzie developed advanced nanomaterial-integrated microdevices for liquid biopsy biomarker detection during their research tenure and has also mentored graduate students. Mackenzie earned a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Penn State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics Nanotechnology from Lock Haven University.
