Manuel Ellermann

Manuel Ellermann is an accomplished Research Product Team Lead at Bayer since March 2012, with expertise in managing clinical global program teams across research and development. Ellermann has progressed through various roles at Bayer, including Project Development Lead, Global Program Head for acute and chronic kidney indications, and Director, demonstrating a strong focus on multi-indication assets in clinical development. Prior experience includes serving as Lab Head in oncology and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute and ETH Zurich, where significant contributions were made to total synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Ellermann holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and a Diplom in Organic Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg, complemented by international education experience at Imperial College London and the University of Stuttgart.
