Manuel Sommer

Laboratory Head - Early Biology Pest Control

Manuel Sommer is a scientist and consultant with extensive experience in biochemistry, strategy, and laboratory management. They served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, where they focused on the biochemistry of carboxysome shell proteins and received a DFG fellowship. Subsequently, Manuel held various roles at Bayer, including Senior Consultant in Strategy & Business Consulting and Laboratory Head for Early Biology Pest Control, where they led significant projects aimed at developing new strategies for pest management and optimizing laboratory processes.
