Mark Land

Mark Land is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Americas Functional Safety Upgrades Program Director at Bayer since January 2013. In this role, Mark supports a program management team overseeing the upgrade of functional safety systems across six manufacturing facilities in the Americas. Previous roles at Bayer include Director of Process and Plant Safety, Director of Project Management for Bayer CropScience, and Director of Process Engineering, where Mark led teams focused on safety, project management, and engineering support. Prior to these positions, Mark held various director and managerial roles within Bayer MaterialScience, including Director of Manufacturing and Project Director for the world's largest TDI production facility. Mark began his career as a Quality Assurance Chemist and holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington.
