Markus Eser

Markus Eser is a highly experienced professional in the field of biochemistry and protein chemistry, currently serving as Lab Head of Development Analytics and Lab Head of Downstream Process Development at Bayer since November 2013. Prior to this, Markus held the position of Head of Protein Chemistry and Senior Scientist at Affimed Therapeutics AG from February 2010 to October 2013. Markus began a distinguished academic career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from September 2003 to January 2010 and worked as a Research Associate at the University of Konstanz in 1999. Markus holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Cardiff University, obtained between 2000 and 2003, and a Diploma in Biology from the University of Konstanz, completed in 1998.
