Matthew Brandt

Matthew Brandt is the Vice President of US Seed Licensing at Bayer Crop Science, a position held since 2022. Previously, they served as a Technical Analyst at Monsanto Choice Genetics, where they led research efforts to create downstream value for food companies. Prior to that, they were an Extension Educator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, providing education and support in livestock and crop areas. Matthew holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 1999 to 2005. Their extensive experience in agronomy and product management has been demonstrated through various roles at Bayer and Monsanto, focusing on corn product management and technology development.
