Matthias Erber

Matthias Erber is currently the CMC Project Lead at Bayer, where they focus on the development of injectable formulations for small molecules and biologics. Matthias earned their PhD in pharmaceutical technology from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where they developed single-dosed cryopellets for whole blood coagulation diagnostics. Following their doctoral studies, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow, coordinating projects related to nanoparticles and coagulation. Matthias began their career at Bayer in 2015 as a Lab Head and has accumulated extensive experience in hemostasis and freeze-drying. Currently residing in Düsseldorf, Matthias enjoys running along the shores of the Rhine.
