McKenzie Patrick, PhD, is a highly motivated molecular biologist specializing in oncology research, with eight years of experience in cancer and metabolism studies. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Precision Molecular Oncology at Bayer, McKenzie previously contributed to various roles including Scientist at Cyteir Therapeutics and a Moody Foundation Research Scientist at the Children’s Research Institute at UT Southwestern. McKenzie earned a PhD in Cancer Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from James Madison University. Early in their career, McKenzie interned at SRI International, where they successfully identified and validated tumor-targeting peptides for non-small cell lung cancer.
