Meike Römer has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, beginning as an intern in a communal pharmacy in 2004 and later completing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Helsinki from 2005 to 2008. Römer held various academic and managerial roles, including Research Scientist at the University of Muenster, where responsibilities included teaching and supervising students from 2009 to 2013, and as Manager of Galenical Development at Rottendorf Pharma from 2013 to 2014. Following a tenure as Team Leader for Formulation Development at Corden Pharma from 2015 to 2016, Römer served as PAT-Manager at Grünenthal Group from 2016 to 2021, and is currently a Principal Expert for Process Analytical Technologies at Bayer since 2021.
