Mike Devoy

Mike Devoy is the EVP Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance & Chief Marketing Officer - Pharmaceuticals at Bayer. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Devoy started their career at Glaxo Group Research in 1991 as a Clinical Research Physician. Mike then moved to Glaxo Research and Development Limited in 1992 as a Medical Affairs Physician. In 1995, they were promoted to Medical Director at Glaxo Wellcome.

Mike joined GlaxoSmithKline in 2000 as the Director of Medical and Regulatory Affairs. In 2001, they were promoted to VP, Respiratory Clinical Development and Medical Affairs Europe and Global Leader. Mike held this position until 2005 when they joined Schering AG as the Senior VP, Global Medical Development.

Mike left Schering AG in 2006 and joined Bayer in 2007 as the EVP Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance & Chief Marketing Officer - Pharmaceuticals.

Mike Devoy has a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MB, BS) from UCL in the field of medicine and pharmacology.
