Nathan Young is an innovative drug discovery biologist currently serving as the Director of Oncology Research at Bayer. With significant experience in pre-clinical research and translational medicine, Nathan has led multidisciplinary teams in various aspects of the drug discovery pipeline. Previous roles include Senior Scientist II at Casma Therapeutics and Research Scientist I at eFFECTOR Therapeutics, where Nathan focused on gene-editing technologies and synthetic lethal gene-drug interactions. Nathan earned a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a BS in Biological Sciences from Vanderbilt University.
