Param Ramachandran

Param Ramachandran, PhD, is currently the Director of Data Science at Bayer, where they lead the development of advanced machine learning models and AI solutions to enhance business operations. Previously, Param served as an AI/ML Bioinformatics Data Scientist at Roche, contributing to innovative cancer diagnostic tools. With extensive experience in bioinformatics and data science gained during their tenure at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Param has developed numerous impactful analytical techniques and tools driving cancer research forward. They have also held academic positions as a faculty member and research assistant at the University of Victoria, focusing on engineering design and digital signal processing.
