Phil Taylor is an experienced AgTech leader and plant scientist who currently serves as the Director of Community Ecosystem Development at Crop Science for Bayer. A champion for ecosystems as a catalyst for innovation, Phil plays a vital role in enhancing Bayer's engagement with business and academic communities worldwide. Phil's past experience includes serving as a Biotechnology Collaboration Lead and Development Project Lead at Monsanto, along with a series of roles at Bayer, including Open Innovation Lead and Biotechnology New Investments Lead. They completed a Ph.D. in Plant Cell Biology at the University of East Anglia and held various post-doctoral positions, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to research and development in the field.
