Piyush Sarode

Piyush Sarode is a seasoned HR leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of HR for Worldwide Markets at Bayer since January 2020, Piyush oversees talent management and cultural transformation for over 13,000 colleagues worldwide while also leading the Pharmaceutical business areas in the US. Previously, Piyush held various senior HR positions at Novartis, including Head HR for Cell & Gene Manufacturing and Technical Development, where oversight included a global team of around 1,100 associates. Piyush's career also encompasses significant roles at GSK and ITC Limited, complemented by an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
