Pramod Pantha

Pramod Pantha is a Genome Design Scientist at Bayer since June 2024 and previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Louisiana State University from August 2015 to June 2024. During this time, Pramod utilized multi-omics datasets to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying salt tolerance in plants. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff from August 2013 to May 2015, focusing on molecular biology, Agrobacterium-mediated transformation, RNA interference, and plant tissue culture. Pramod began a career in education as a Program Coordinator at Rumjatar Higher Secondary School in Nepal from August 2012 to July 2013. Academic qualifications include a PhD from Louisiana State University, a Master's degree in Agriculture Regulations from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and Bachelor's degrees in Plant Breeding and Genetics from both IAAS and the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science.
