Rita Tohme

Rita Tohme, PhD, is the Director of Medical Excellence at Bayer, where they drive strategic partnerships between Medical Affairs and product teams to enhance customer engagement in hematology and specialty medicine. With over 12 years of experience in molecular medicine, oncology, and cancer drug development, Rita holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. Previously, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, managing projects in translational drug development for hematological malignancies. Rita has also contributed to cancer research at the American University of Beirut, where they supported various studies and led teaching initiatives in biology. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to advancing healthcare and scientific research.
