Shuting Zhai

Shuting Zhai, PhD, is an experienced professional in atmospheric sciences and environmental engineering with a robust background in carbon project management and data science. Currently serving as the Carbon Project Lead, Regional at Bayer since November 2024, Shuting implements global carbon asset strategies and drives the development of high-quality, scalable carbon asset projects. Previously, Shuting held roles as a Data Science PhD Intern at Meta and a Carbon Quantification Analyst at Nori, where a methodology for soil carbon dioxide removal was developed. Shuting's academic credentials include a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Engineering from Peking University.
