Simon D. Schnell

Simon D. Schnell is a seasoned process chemist currently serving as the Head of Laboratory at Bayer (Schweiz) AG since August 2023. Previously, Simon held positions at Senn Chemicals AG as Deputy Head of R&D and Research Chemist from December 2021 to August 2023, and worked as a Chemiker F&E at Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis AG from December 2020 to December 2021. Educationally, Simon obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Universität Zürich | University of Zurich between January 2017 and December 2020, and earned both a Master of Science in Chemistry (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry & Biochemistry (B.Sc.) from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, completing the master's degree in 2016 and the bachelor's degree in 2014.
