Sonja Malaj

Sonja Malaj is an experienced professional in biotechnology and data stewardship, currently serving as a Data Steward at Bayer since July 2023. Previously, Sonja worked as a Process Development Engineer at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from March 2022 to March 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the special point of contact for data acquisition at a GMP manufacturing site and representing the DSD department in a data taxonomy project. Sonja's academic background includes a Master's degree in Life Science and Technology from TU Delft and a joint bachelor's degree in Life Science and Technology from both Technische Universiteit Delft and Leiden University. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher at TU Delft, a Teaching Assistant at Leiden University and Delft University of Technology, and a Bioprocess Modelling Intern at EV Biotech.
