Stefan Herrmann is currently the Medical Head of CardioRenal at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Previously, they served as an Assistant Professor and Senior Research Scientist at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 2014 to 2017. Their earlier roles include a Pharmacist position at Apotheke Im Karl-Albrecht Hof and a Drug Safety, Pharmacovigilance Trainee at Smithklein Beecham. They completed a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and held a postdoctoral research position at TU München. Additionally, they obtained a Habilitation/Privatdozent degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
