Steffen Schweizer

Steffen Schweizer currently serves as the Global Head of Innovation Procurement at Bayer, a position held since May 2008, with previous roles including Global Head of Procurement Lab Supply & Pharma Research and Head of Procurement BP Pharma Research. Prior to Bayer, Steffen Schweizer worked at Intendis from January 2005 to April 2008 as the Head of Production Site Management and Head of CMC Operations. Earlier experience includes positions at Schering AG and Merz Pharma, where responsibilities ranged from leading pharmaceutical development labs to managing galenical development. Steffen Schweizer holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from Goethe University Frankfurt, a Staatsexamen in Pharmacy from Heidelberg University, and a Diploma in General Management from the University of St.Gallen.
