Suhua Deng

Suhua Deng is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as Associate Director of Analytical Development for Cell & Gene Therapy at Bayer since July 2023. With a strong focus on multi-omics applications, Deng has led the design and implementation of NGS assays for clinical development, and authored technology transfer reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Previous roles include Director of NGS Core Facility at Nutcracker Therapeutics, where strategic planning for mRNA therapies was a key responsibility, and R&D Lead at CareDx, Inc., focusing on sequencing platforms. Deng has also held significant positions in several companies, including Principal Scientist at a stealth startup, R&D Scientist at Centrillion Biosciences, and has an extensive academic background with a Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Neuroscience from the University of Heidelberg. Notable research includes contributions to the understanding of neural stem cell regulation and mouse model studies in developmental biology.
