Sylvain A. Jacques

Sylvain A. Jacques is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Lab Leader for Chemistry Excellence at Bayer since August 2022. Previously, Sylvain worked as a Research Scientist at EDELRIS from February 2016 to July 2022 and held the position of Research Associate in Medicinal and Chemical Biology at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Strasbourg, France from January 2014 to January 2016. Sylvain's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Associate in Medicinal Chemistry at the Science for Life Laboratory, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics at Karolinska Institut from October 2011 to October 2013, and internships at I.S.I.S., sanofi-aventis, and Solvay. Sylvain earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Imperial College London, a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg, and an Ingenieur Chimiste degree in Organic Chemistry from ECPM Ecole européenne de chimie polymères et matériaux de Strasbourg.
