Tarja Nurmi

Tarja Nurmi is a seasoned Principal Scientist specializing in Extractables & Leachables, with a diverse background in analytical chemistry and project engineering. They began their career as a Project Engineer at Mäntän Energia and Kuusakoski Oy before transitioning into the research field at MTT Food and Agricultural Research Center and Folkhälsan Research Center. Over the years, Tarja has held various roles at Bayer and the University of Eastern Finland, culminating in senior positions where they managed laboratories and led research projects. Tarja's academic foundation includes a PhD from the University of Kuopio, enhancing their expertise in the field.
