Todd Ciche possesses extensive experience in microbiology and microbial symbiosis, having held positions at prestigious institutions and companies. Initially serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from June 2000 to March 2003 and at Caltech from September 2003 to April 2005, Todd conducted significant research on marine microbiology and nematode pathogens. From April 2005 to 2013, Todd was an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at Michigan State University, teaching various microbiology courses while mentoring students. Since April 2017, Todd has worked as a Microbiology Scientist and Agronomic Traits Sourcing and Discovery Lead at Monsanto Company, focusing on microbial discovery to enhance crop yield sustainably. Currently, Todd is a Fellow and Microbial Discovery Scientist at Bayer Crop Science, continuing to leverage expertise in microbiology to address global food production challenges. Todd holds a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science degree in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
