Tope Amodu

Tope Amodu, PhD, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Bayer since December 2023, following a similar role at Chiesi UK from July 2021 to December 2023. In both positions, Tope developed relationships with healthcare professionals, ensuring medical accuracy and compliance while providing valuable insights for strategic development. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Scientific Account Manager at Random42 Scientific Communication, where responsibilities included managing client accounts across various therapeutic areas and producing educational materials for pharmaceutical launches. Tope earned a PhD in Oncology from the University of East Anglia, focusing on microtubules in breast cancer metastasis, and gained strong skills in clinical paper appraisal, strategic project planning, and data analysis. Additionally, Tope has a degree in Biochemistry from King's College London and has experience from an industrial placement at MedImmune, developing novel reporter cell lines.
