Torben Cichon is currently the SME and Project Lead for Automation and Robotics in the CMC and Lab division at Bayer, a position they began in 2024. Previously, from 2020 to 2023, Torben worked as a Project Engineer in Future Manufacturing Concepts and Smart Automation at INVITE GmbH. They also gained experience as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT in 2011 and again in 2013. Torben completed their Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in 2012 and earned a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering and Technical Computer Science from the same institution between 2014 and 2019.
